Television has brought great sporting events right into the living rooms of homes around the world but there is still no substitute for being right there, right in the thick of things to experience the sights and the sounds and, above all, the adrenaline rush that comes with live action.

On Saturday, July 7 the adrenaline will be flowing like water among the over 55 000 people expected at Greyville Racecourse in Durban for the running of the R3 million, Grade 1, Vodacom Durban July, the greatest racing, fashion and entertainment extravaganza on the African continent.

On that day Greyville and its surrounds will be teeming with people and vehicles and the best way to avoid being held up in queues of people and cars is to secure entrance and parking tickets early.
Tickets for the day go on sale in early May - grandstand tickets at R200 each and parking tickets R50  per vehicle on the Royal Durban Golf Course. Whilst entrance tickets will also be on sale on the day, parking tickets will NOT be sold on the day and MUST be pre-purchased.

How to get your tickets if you are not in the greater Durban area

Should you wish to purchase tickets prior to the Vodacom Durban July, you may pay for the tickets by EFT up to 16h00 on Wednesday 4 July and collect the tickets when you arrive in Durban. Please note that no EFT ticket sales will be accepted after 16h00 on 4 July.

COLLECTION OF TICKETS
• Up to and including 5 July 2012, the tickets will be available for collection weekdays from 08h00 to 16h00 at the sales office, which is situated at the entrance to Greyville Racecourse, 150 Avondale Road, Greyville, Durban.

• On Friday, 6 July 2012, the above office will remain open until 20h00.

• On Vodacom Durban July day, tickets will be available for collection ONLY from the “Will Call Office” at Gate No. 13. - Mitchell Crescent main entrance.

POSTING OF TICKETS
• Should you wish, we can post the tickets by ordinary mail.
• Please note however that the posting of the tickets is entirely at your own risk.
• Should they not be received on time or go "missing" in the postal service, we will under no circumstances be held accountable in any way and the tickets will not be replaced.

COURIER COLLECTION
• You may send a courier to collect the tickets on your behalf at your own expense.
• Alternatively we can courier them to you, priced from R70 (central Johannesburg and Cape Town) depending on your address, provided you deposit the courier amount with your ticket purchase amount. All delivery details must be correct, ie, physical address, contact name and contact number.
• “Please Note that Box Addresses will not be accepted for courier delivery”
